Feeding Birds: Lunch Time at San Rafael Civic Center Lagoon

feeding-birds-s Feeding Birds: Lunch Time at San Rafael Civic Center Lagoon

If you have ever been to San Rafael Civic Center Lagoon, you will not forget how many birds make residence at the lagoon. It’s a paradise for lazy birds as stream of people bring bread to feed them throughout the day.

I caught those two people feeding mostly seagulls one day during lunchtime. I, too, am guilty of taking my kids to feed them in the past. Usually summer offers more variety of geese and ducks.

San Rafael Civic Center Lagoon

san-rafael-civic-center-lagoon-s San Rafael Civic Center Lagoon

So many times my family and I have been to this lagoon to feed birds and take a walk around it, and yet, never bothered to take a picture.

Today, I loaded up my bag and took time to setup tripod and took some pictures. All this beauty taken for granted in this world.

Richmond Bridge/San Francisco Bay at Dusk

richmond-bridge-s Richmond Bridge/San Francisco Bay at Dusk

Got tired of being rained in for the last two days. Took advantage of a clear sky and drove out to near San Quentin. Waited a few minutes for the sun to set and started to take some long-exposure shots.

I really like this bridge - how it’s shaped. It’s so rare to see a bridge that’s not straight.
