Unusual sight, at first, I thought as I drove through The Embarcadero Street in San Francisco well past midnight. Sky was clear and the wind blew hard through the streets. It is so unusual to see a red brick building in the Bay Area, and then, having that tall, pointy Transamerica peaking through the sky right behind is a rare sight.

Golden Gate Bridge north tower, with San Francisco in background, on a foggy and windy night. Thi is a work-in-progress as my computer can not process fast enough to handle this large file size - at least until the new quad processor computer arrives.

On 18th Street overlooking Highway 280 has become one of my favorite night photography places. It is still fun to see the car lights streaking in the middle of the picture.

On a cool, quiet night, I stopped at the Vista Point off Golden Gate Bridge to take some night shots. It was quite windy with a threat of rain. Had to work quickly to get this shot. I left shutter open for 30 seconds.
I’ve taken a number of city skyline at night. But, I don’t remember ever getting this kind of colors and hues.
