Golden Gate Bridge north tower, with San Francisco in background, on a foggy and windy night. Thi is a work-in-progress as my computer can not process fast enough to handle this large file size - at least until the new quad processor computer arrives.

Such a magnificent building! The building looks entirely different at night.

One reason I like night photography is that when the night rolls in and the traffic dwindles, the nature becomes so much more accessible to my senses.
I stood on the vista looking down at water for a few minutes as my eyes tuned to the night only clothed in artificial lights.

I was looking through some night shots I’ve taken recently and this one caught my eye. Of all the shots I’ve taken and have seen other’s, this one captured the color of the bridge so well.

One of my favorite places to take my family on weekend is Japantown in San Francisco. Many cultural activities and fun places to eat and shop, this place is always a good bet.

On a cool, quiet night, I stopped at the Vista Point off Golden Gate Bridge to take some night shots. It was quite windy with a threat of rain. Had to work quickly to get this shot. I left shutter open for 30 seconds.
I’ve taken a number of city skyline at night. But, I don’t remember ever getting this kind of colors and hues.
